Exclusively for non-native speakers, this program offers five levels of instruction, from Foundations to Advanced levels and ultimately the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) level. When you complete the program (and pass one General Elective course), you’ll receive a General Arts and Science Ontario College Certificate and may apply to other Sheridan programs without further language testing. We offer students a supportive and innovative learning environment led by faculty who have PhD and Master degrees in the field of ESL teaching. Additionally, all ESL students automatically become members of our ESL club which organizes fun and informative activities and excursions around Ontario.
