EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Gonzalo Peralta

Based in Ottawa (Ontario), Gonzalo is responsible for the leadership of the association, including oversight of advocacy, partnerships, planning, implementation, international affairs, governance, quality assurance, and operations.

DIRECTOR, PUBLIC AFFAIRS

Rachel Lindsey

Based in Rossland (British Columbia), Rachel oversees all endeavours in public affairs. She is also responsible for operations including human resources, project management and coordination.

DIRECTOR, MEMBER SERVICES

Linda Auzins

Based in Aldergrove (British Columbia), Linda manages member services, and provides board and committee support. Linda is the initial point of contact for most enquiries and is responsible for many administrative functions, governance, finance, and the annual conference.

Diego Sanchez

Based in Montreal (Québec), Diego is responsible for trade missions, FAM tours and international promotion events in which Languages Canada participates.

MANAGER, SPECIAL INITIATIVES

Valerie Kilgour

Based in Brantford (Ontario), Valerie leads the LC Consortium IEC Recognized Organization project and supports the team on public sector issues, as well as quality assurance and professional development endeavours.

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Marie-Claude Loiselle

Based in Farnham (Québec), Marie-Claude is the “hub” of all communications projects for the association, including media relations, printed and electronic communications pieces, social media and Languages Canada’s website.
