Why Join Languages Canada?

By uniting Canada's Official Languages sector and having one strong voice, Languages Canada advances policies, processes, and activities that help the country’s English and French language programs thrive and their students have the best possible experience.

Since our beginnings in 2008, some of our major achievements include:

  • Creating the Languages Canada Quality Assurance Framework and ensuring its recognition by various levels of government;
  • Providing members with access to the EduCanada brand initiative and Designated Learning Institution framework;
  • Organizing the Languages Canada Annual Conference, which brings together members, partners and international education stakeholders each year to connect, share, learn, and collaborate;
  • Running multiple successful inbound and outbound trade missions tailored specifically for language programs in various source markets;
  • Negotiating agreements with foreign governments to establish scholarship programs and other language education initiatives for the benefit of members.

You can be a part of our voice and participate in the process of influencing government and showcasing Canada's language education offer to overseas markets.

As a Languages Canada member, you will receive financial benefits, up-to-date industry information, quality recognition, and prestige.

Upon approval of your membership application, Languages Canada will advise Orion Assessment Services of your eligibility to proceed with the accreditation process.

For more information about accreditation, please see Orion Assessment's Languages Canada Portal.
